Since 2000, Future for Youth Foundation has been a leader and innovator in a new philosophy of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Korea. By employing diverse ideas and strategies, we have partnered with large and small companies who are committed to developing and sustaining effective and measureable projects that assist youth to learn and excel as new leaders of tomorrow.

We here atFuture for Youth Foundation understand the increased pressures companies face in justifying their CSR investments. Our CSR model takes corporate partners’ interests and priorities into account and merges them with the needs of the community resulting in positive social changes.

Impact

Six areas your business impact will be
1. Employee contributions:

staff members and employees of your company can actively participate in our programs as volunteers, mentors, and hopefully facilitators.

2. Measurable positive impact on youth:

We provide you with periodic verifiable accountability reports showing the applications of your investment and the direct influence it has on the program.

3. Community Relationships:

The participation of local stakeholders and community leaders is an important factor in the successful outcome of our projects. We strongly encourage our stakeholders to participate in the recruitment of community members to work with them to build a stronger future for their youth and a renewed solidarity within their community.

4. Product Development:

Participants in our projects directly or indirectly contribute to your product value and performance improvement through user-research, consumer feedback, product demand works, etc.

5. Marketing and Public Relations:

Organizing and presenting, special events such as community outreach via personal appearances, community meeting, children’s story times, and introduction of CSR case histories play important roles in ensuring the success of media coverage for the events and their sponsors.

6. Potentially valuable future workforce:

Alumni of our programs may be comprised skilled and industrious employees of our sponsor companies.

Strengths

Six strengths of Future for Youth Foundation in CSR projects:
1. Specialized Team Management (SPT):

Our SPT is comprised of over twenty eight skilled managers each one assigned to a specific CSR program. They play a vital role in the production of new and creative approaches to projects for effective operations and continuity where needed.

2. Customization:

Our creative staff members are eager to design and implement programs that meet, and often exceed our donor’s expectations and the needs of our clients. See what core theme we customize programs.

3. National and International Networks:

We have helped to sponsor 1000 local organizational networks in Korea and over fifty partner organizations over the world. See Future for Youth Foundation partners.

4. Intellectual Property:

In order to increase effectiveness of projects, we develop program curriculums and training manuals separately targeting to educators, facilitators, volunteers, and youth clients.

5. CSR Branding and Public Relation:

Our professional staff designs project name and slogan, manuals, instructional syllabi, social media pages, newsletters and other media presentations vital to the success of our programs. Based on needs, we create separate home page, blog, or web-magazine for each project. Future for Youth Foundation monthly newsletter and active Facebook playing important roles in PR outreach.

6. Program Transparency:

We sustain a high degree of transparency in all that we do. Each of our Future for Youth Foundation Project Managers is required to continually monitoring their respective projects to guarantee compliance with our policies of clarity through transparency.

Process

Seven stages of project development:
1. Receipt of CSR Project Request

- Receipt of initial contact request from prospective sponsor

2. Project Review/Environment Analysis
  • - Direct interview with representatives of prospective sponsor to introduce ourselves and collect information pertaining to the requests and expectations of sponsor
  • - Identifying what matters most to company stakeholders
  • - Assessment of perceived strengths and viable resources of the corporation
3. Project Planning and Proposal
  • - Based on initial information provided our staff will match requests for services to the strengths and resources readily available through a partnership with prospective sponsor.
  • - Establish guidelines with viable objectives and goals for project success
  • - Presentation of project ideas (we attempt to always provide options) to the prospective sponsor for discussion and approval
4. Completion of formal Agreement
  • - On completion of presentations and discussions, if prospective sponsor agrees, formal document is signed between Future for Youth Foundation and the sponsor signifying that the validity and commitment of both parties.
  • - Any funds agreed to are presented to Future for Youth Foundation at the completion of the formal signing
5. Finalization

- All details of the agreement and project plan finalized and presented to the new sponsor

6. Project Implementation
  • - Selection of potential beneficiary agencies and/or organizations
  • - Recruitment, orientation and training of personnel and volunteers in compliance with project plans
  • - Initialization of project and implementation of interim monitoring
7. Project Evaluations and Reporting

- Periodic evaluations are performed gauging performance, goal management, expenditures, and general progress of projects
